Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actress. Following her film debut by playing a minor role in the Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to appear as a an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Other roles include Siobhan Donavan in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). A photographer approached Doody. Doody began to model and subsequently a career in commercial modelling. Doody did not like glamour or nude modeling, which she carried over to her acting. She accepted a small role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill when she was spotted by the director of casting. Doody's name appeared in John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 which features the most promising young actors in 1986. 38. Doody was a part-time actress in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Later, she appeared as a guest in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to be the lead actress in a remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx but the project ended up being cancelled. In 2011, she started the second season on the E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way.
